usually the maker of a webcam will offer software that goes with it. I have a logitech cam and I visited logitech.com and they had software to download that worked for my camera. As far as mutliple cameras, I would assume that you could run different programs and set the sources to different cameras, but I guess it all depends on the hardware and the software
