^plus there are so many double standards when saying it's against "family values." I could go on and on about things against "family values" that are a part of today's society. Lets face it, the term family values has become somewhat skewed in the current society we live in. Why not talk about why the divorce rate is so high now, pornography, the ever-prevalence of slander and curse words in song lyrics these days, not being able to watch network tv without seeing "suggestive" material, kids playing video games where the object is to run around stealing cars and kill people, I mean the list goes on and on.
Lets just say it has nothing to do with "family values," it's the fact that there are people who just plain don't agree with the lifestyle. That's fine, you don't have to agree with them, it's just when you practice hate towards a group when it gets to be a bad situation.
