Thanks for all the replies. I rented a room on the 23rd floor of the Hilton. I figured if it's far enough away from the street that that would work.
Another question arises though. Does anyone who lives in New York have some insider suggestions for great restaurants? There are so many to choose from, it's difficult to decide.
