I hesistate to make this post because I really don't want to be banned from this place. I do like it here. I'm afraid if I keep yacking on about these body for life concpets and the Bill Phillips army of fitness zombies that folks may decide I've worn out my welcome. But...that being said and throwing caution into the wind here goes.
I've found three cook books that really provide great nutritional information and healthy eating, low fat recipes. The first is my most recent purchase wich is titled "Eating for Life" written by the afore mentioned Bill Phillips. The second is titled "New Dieter's cook book" by Better Homes and Gardens. This one is particularly good because it provides a ton of choices and it provides the total nutritional information and a picture of the item in question.
One other good one is Jane Brody's Good Food Gourmet. You have to read carefully each recipe you are considering but she gives good information about each examples nutritional content.
Healthy eating can be good as well as good for you.
Hope this helps
