Michigan Avenue, north of the Chicago River to the WaterTower is known as the Magnificent Mile, or Mag Mile. Lots of high end shopping. The city has great restaruants of all description and price and every ethinc group is represented. Chicago is home to Second City, 1616 N Wells, which has been the birth place of many fine comedians.
