Sounds delicious, Cynthetiq. Thanks for the tip and the location. The Time Out eating and drinking guide is the shit! I found both of those places in there and read great reviews. I think we'll eat in Carroll Gardens tonight on Smith Street. That's where the bar I work at is and I have to swing by to get something. Smith Street is really getting to be too packed with restaurants. Thanks again.

The TONY E&D is a great guide... but I prefer the cheap eats issue. It's getting harder and harder to find cheap eats in the NYC but if you look you'll find them. The other problem with Cheap Eats is that they tend to overcrowd my favorite spots as my little hole in the walls become "overnight sensations"
Do you like Falafel? (Trust me... the FALAFEL, not the Shwarma which is also good but trust me.) Best falafel in NYC @ Azuri Cafe W. 51st Street @ 11th Ave... (see the trend of far from everything?) It's the best! Go there early on Friday because he's closed for Sabbath.
Since you are in NYC or if anyone else here is planning on going to NYC, check out www.restaurant.com for 50% off gift certificates (there are other cities too!) and www.restaurantassociates.com (the mailing list gets you some gift certificates at member restaurants)
