Exactly! If I knew a loved one only had a certain amount of time left I would want to spend as much time as possible with them. To fit in a lifetime of love into the time remaining. You have the choice to be happy for a short time or to always regret not taking that step.
It's a sad situation to be in, that is for certain. But grasp what happiness you can while it's here. You will be able to create memories that you can cherish once she is gone.
