Pack them in like Vienna sausages.
Avoid Coinstar. They take 8.9% (89¢ out of $10) of what they count plus the coins that get into the machine without being counted (usually due to overfilling the fill chamber). If you have $300, they'll be getting $26.70 of it. Anyone whose time is so valuable that this is a bargain isn't someone who would need to accumulate the coins to begin with.
