Had a pool table since I was like 5, when my father bought one.
When I started to go to pool halls at 14, people thought that I would be an easy target to take money from. Sorry bastards didn't know what hit them when I started to play 9 ball for money. Although this was a cheap town, the most I ever won was around $40. The most I ever lost was abotu $20. Went through hell getting this one tub of shit to pay up on a $15 loss.
Came in 4th in a Snooker tournament. Probably would have made 3rd place but had one of the worst off-days ever.
Oh, and there is no way I would have let that guy off. I would have taken that Maserati. If I lose I pay up, no matter what the loss. I expect the same from my opponent.
