I apologize if this is a re-post, but I did do a search and didnt find anything matching.

Well, we've got two lovely kids - one a product of the rythym (holy typo) method, and the second was planned.

My wife does not like the pill at all, will not consider patches etc., doesnt like female condom and won't use an IUD.

We've tried condoms, but quite honestly - i lose it the moment it goes on. I don't know if its psychological or just lack of sensation - a condom just kills it.

We aren't ready for tubes tied or vasectomy yet.

so. I would like to ask the ladies about your preferences for a couple of other contraceptives used.

1. The Sponge. The Today Sponge (a la Seinfeld fame) is now for sale in Canada and the price aint all that bad.

2. Spermacidal Foam.


What are they like? Do they lessen any sensation for the woman? Can the guy feel them?

What would you all recommend, and if there is anything else we could try that does not require a patch, injection or pill let me know!
