eh, i just got my cartilidge pierced with a 14 instead of the standard (i think it was 14, definately thicker).
thad is the biggest I will ever get because of things discussed in this thread. Things like finding a job. I don't think I'm meant to beable to put my finger through my ear lobe and touch my neck.
just me though, and i'm not currently a teenager which i'm sure effects my decision making process.
I don't care if others do it, it's their life, their choices. I do find it stupid though because eventually it will bite you in the ass with employment or something.
Unless you get a job where you never have to deal with the public that is. Most employers don't allow more than some earrings (no nose, eyebrow, tongue, lip, etc) when dealing with the public because you are there to serve them, not disgust them.
