I think's Boo's rant was on target.
Get pissed all you want. I know it's your body and you can do what you want with it. I also know that it's discrimination to not hire people with piercings and tatoos, but it happens, get over it.
Point is that my friend's little sister had several piercings (tongue, eybrow, 5-6 in each ear) and went out looking for a job. She didn't get a single call back. He then told her to take the piercings out and try it again, she got called back on every single application and now has two jobs.
Once again, call it profiling, discrimination, whatever you want. Fact is we area visual society and most retail businesses think twice about hiring someone who is overly "decorated'.
