Hell yes. I think the internet can be a great way of getting to know people but the key is to be totally honest to avoid disappointment if you ever meet. We are lucky to live in an age now where location does not decide your love interest. There are no land borders now when it comes to meeting others and while that can be scary it also allows us the freedom to know people we normally wouldn't. Who said your soul mate has to live in the same city....country.....continent!
I have a friend from England who met & fell in love with a girl in California on the net. They have been happily married for years with five kids. Love those success stories!
