About the Mario Kart: Double Dash game:

I agree with Lasereth, but not so much about the lack of innovation as the lack of having a human opponent to go against. I haven't even been able to touch the Battle Modes yet because my friends aren't much into the Mario kind of game, plus my bro is gone to the Navy now, so I've been stuck with solo-playing. In my situation, while it was fun, I don't think it would have been worth buying if the bonus disc didn't come with it (not that the bonus disc is real special, but it was just enough to make it a worthy purchase). Oh, and I was also one of those people who completely wore out the SNES and N64 versions, so I was already real good at it when I first started playing it.

About the Top 10 (sorry, I'm not bothering with links guys):

1 (tied). "Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker" - Don't let anyone kid you about the cel-shaded graphics, this is an amazing game. It's the second-best Zelda in my opinion, only behind "Ocarina Of Time".

1 (tied). "Metroid Prime" - My personal favorite of the Metroid games and one of my two personal favorites on the Gamecube, this game was astounding in every factor.

3. "Sonic Mega Collection" - Yes, I'm the first to mention this one. Yes, I'm likely one of the only people, if not the only person, to mention this one. No, it probably shouldn't count because it's all the classic Sonic games I've grown to love off the Genesis wrapped into one sweet collection.

4 (tied). "NFL 2K3" - I'm willing to bet that ESPN Football's better (I played it on the X-Box and I liked it more), but since I haven't tried the Gamecube version, NFL 2K3 gets the honors of being #4.

4 (tied). "Super Smash Brothers: Melee" - THE party game of the system, it is always filled with laughs and excitement. You really can't go wrong with it.

6. "Super Mario Sunshine" - Although more difficult than almost any other Mario game I can think of, it's still a brilliant game.

7. "Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time / Master Quest" - This would be up alot higher, but it's a hardly-updated version of the same game from the N64 with a second mode (Master Quest) that reminds me too much of the first one to be 100% excited about. If you haven't played it on the N64 before, then you need to find a friend with this bonus disc and check it out, now.
SIDE-NOTE: What Zelda games are on that new disc that's beign shipped with the Gamecube?

8. "Luigi's Mansion" - Oh no I just didn't! Actually, I did, and I stand proud with it being on my list. It's an under-rated game that too many people had huge expectations for.

9. "Animal Crossing" - An extremely innovative game, but I couldn't keep interested with it as long as many of my other friends could. A good purchase, but make sure you know what you're buying here.

10. "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!" - A solid game...you can read what I said at the top of this post.
