Well, I didn't know which forum this has to go into. A home theater system isn't a computer, so I figured it's supposed to be some form of home entertainment right?
So, here's my problem.
My mom just got me a T-352 Home Theater System from Amphion Mediaworks. Yea, she's the bestest mom
. But anyhoo, I was messing around with the speaker and the subwoofer and I thought I'd play some techno music. While I was listening to the music, I thought I'd test how loud the theater system will get to. So, I turn the volume up to 80 which is the max. But then, that's when the problem starts, I noticed that the subwoofer wasn't actually viberating. Sure enough, I was feeling viberation mostly from the centre speaker but when I was holding on the subwoofer to see if anything was coming out of it, it was just silent. So, I unplugged everything out except the subwoofer. It wasn't even working no sound was coming out of it. So, I plugged the subwoofer into where the centre speaker, it works like a beaut. So, I plugged the centre speaker into where the subwoofer is suppose to go into, it wasn't working. So, I put the centre speaker back into where it's suppose to be plugged in and sure enough it works.
Because the subwoofer is a "special" part of the home theater sys, I wonder if anybody had this problem before and found a way to resolve it or is the subwoofer jack not working? Right now, I just put the subwoofer and the centre speaker into the centre speaker's jack, both are working. Nothing is plugged into the subwoofer's jack.
Any thoughts?
