Neo, here's an idea...
You're fishing... You yank this woman too hard she's off the hook and swimming away... If she's pulling away from you, sit back, give her some slack, and when she realizes you're not gonna chase her she'll turn her interest right back up...
If it takes a while just, hang in there, it would be better to be able to call her up every once in a while until the time is right than to piss her off lose all chances
