I found that once i started to eat more healthier and more importantly natural foods, once i got "used" to it i didn't really feel like eating much of the other crap. Also, once i found my diet changed and started to feel better, when i ate much of the unhealthy stuff it made me feel like shit anyway, so that was a good reason to stay away, or not eat an excess. You still can eat junk food, but if you each much or lots over a few days, it does get to you...
Although in the process of change, if i was ever about eat anything, sorta nasty, i would force myself to do a bit of excercise instead. Cause you feel much better after a small stint of excercise, comapred to eating some crap.
Unfortuantley, i don't have the same sorta women PLan9 has hangin' off him, so i don't really get those comments alot...
Basically though, it's will power. You will be only as strong as your desire and will to achieve whatever you're aiming for.
It's better to aim at the moon and hit an eagle, than to aim at the eagle and hit a rock
Also, Remember that the best you can, is good enough
