Please be careful.
Decorating your body may effect you lifetime earnings, your health, your occupation, your choice of mate, and your self-esteem.
Today tattoos are cool, tomorrow is another day. Style comes and goes. How can you be an individual when everyone is doing it?
I personally find facial peircings to be almost gastly. Tongue rings make it hard to have communication and seem very dangerous.
Me: "Hi, can I get a New York steak, medium, baked, salad with blue cheese and an iced tea."
Waitress: "Mew Morg dake, meeium, baded poao, walad booeeese ressin and I pee, do woo wan wemon?"
Me (with a confused face, wondering if this person has been in the customer service career field for long): "New York steak, medium, baked, salad with blue cheese and an iced tea."
Waitress: "Matwut Iseeead"
Me (to wife after a screwed up $26 meal): I bet she has peirced ear drums too. Tip..... for poor service, an attitude, and having to look at that nasty crap..... I think NOT. BTW, I will not be back, I will mention it to the manager on the way out.
I guess it is because I wa raised in the late 70's when au natural was in style.
::rant::
I find the money that I have saved by not "decorating" my body is better spent in other ways. In case you are wondering, yes I get pissed when I see people with hundreds of dollars worth of non-essential crap when they drive a POS car that breaks down in the middle of the road and pollutes our environment needlessly, pay for groceries with food stamps or get "free to the needy" anything when they have the ability to pay.
::soapbox now vacant::
