Dude, I've drank plenty of German Jager while in Germany. IT contains alcohol. nothing more nothing less. You can buy Absinthe in Germany legally. Besides, after downing a whole .7 litre bottle of the stuff within 3 hours, ( it doesn't sound like a lot of alcohol at once, but trust me, you try it) I was trashed but not opiated or whatever, only really drunk.
