I assume they mean $300 in pennies, not 300 physical pennies.
I'd guess between $300 to $325 as well. I filled a container almost that size, and ended up rolling about $275. The pain in the arse was that the bank wouldn't take it without having it rolled first, and then when I rolled it and brought it in, they broke open the rolls to make sure they were all real.
