you that deserve the thanks. It's you that's doing the sacrificing, not me. And certainly not her children. (I edited out the word "ungrateful" children, because I really don't the circumstances behind it all, now do I?) What you are doing for this elderly lady means more to her than you will
ever know. And while I can offer you little in the way of physical support, I offer to you emotional and moral support. It would be so easy to just turn your back, and say "Screw this, it's not my problem. Let her kids deal with it." And you would be justified in doing so. You, however, have chosen to take the higher road and in the course have evolved into a being that transcends the rest of us...you are now a true "Human" Being.
