Thrill Kill was banned before it was released. I played the beta of it about 4 years ago, and it was very, very cool. The fighting engine was actually interesting. The worst part about it being cancelled is that it
wasn't that gory. Sure, it had heads being ripped off, arms being severed and then used as weapons, but think about it...Mortal Kombat anyone? This was simply a 3d incantation of Mortal Kombat, yet the MK series is still being sold everywhere.
I don't think Manhunt will be banned, simply because it's already out. Thrill Kill was cancelled before it was released, so they had the pre-emptive strike.
Either way, it's getting above average reviews, but not "great" as we all expect from Rockstar. After Vice City, Rockstar had a lot to live up to.
I'll play it if it goes down in price.
