I'm currently using , or rather not using enough
iwata custom micron SB
iwata eclipse HP-SBS
super silent 20A compressor
husky 15 gallon compressor which is on a very long hose
at the back of the house, then i feed it up to where i work, otherwise i'd be deaf.
MC 250 professional projector, i bought a $49 cheapie (tracer) and i found it to be like all cheap airbrushing stuff, it suits you for a few pieces, then you quickly outgrow it. the 250 was around $250 but they went up $50 the day i bought mine, so i lucked out.
i do mainly portrait work so i use createx, medea and for stuff i want to come out the best i use golden.
i normally pick up canvas at aaron brothers since twice a year they have a two for one sale so i stock up then, i can't be bothered stretching my own :
then i slap on some modern masters gesso, dry sand it down, and do that a couple more times.
noah and coast airbrush sell a canvas that already has been gesso'd and sanded, its gallery ready to.
i posted a few pieces, but i think that was the previous rev of the board, and nothing finished, since i've been concentrating redoing the house instead, but the bite has been telling me to go and do something so i've been researching what i want to do next.
i wish i hadnt wasted so much money starting off with the cheapo stuff, it was in my price range at the time, but using it frustrated me a lot and i lost a lot of time where i could have been using a real brush. plus i ended up paying a lot more, since i replaced practically everything.
What sort of work do you do ?
