I run a computer with dos on it because that is all my cnc machine will take. And i use a win98 computer to Make the files that run the cnc machine. I then put the stuff on a disk and transfer it that way. Ive been doing it for years and im just tired of all these disks. I wanna find a way 2 just transfer it over a cable. Any suggestions are happy. I was thinking of hooking up a zip drive with a parallel port switch and turning on in win98 comp. then switching it over to the dos comp and turning it on so both comps think they are hooked up and then keep switching them. maybe getitng one of those switches that automaticaly switch it for you...kind of a bad way but if it works and is only way i may try it. Let me know what u guys think
