I like his music. It's a bit of a cross between pop and really hard rock, and is more successful at it than bands like Linkin Park or Papa Roach. (I really like Linkin Park, by the way, but as a pop/metal crossover band, they fail. As a hard rock band, they finish well.)
Andrew WK has always struck me as a guy who just really, really loves playing his music. It makes me love him and his music to see him get so into it.
It's a bit like judging a comedian by how hard he laughs at his own jokes. Good comedians have trouble (only a little bit, but some trouble) getting through their own jokes. Andrew WK has trouble performing because he's about to flip himself out of his wheelchair.
