I've never played it. Have you tried looking at other walkthroughs besides the one you have? Sometimes they aren't complete or have mistakes. I found
this one which seems pretty comprehensive, but since I don't know what level the mouth is in I wasn't able to do a simple text search for "stone mouth." If you give me more details I can see what I can turn up.
