I stand corrected. I always thought that Jane was just a frequent contributor to Chevy's weekend update. Was he solo before or after Jane? I remember his sign off of "I'm Chevy Chase....and your not."

BTW...When I offered that Chevy was before my time, in the 70's I was but a single digit aged youngster (born in 70), so I wasn't a frequent viewer. Obviously I remember him, and have even seen the reruns, but WU is very topical and current affairs based. Miller came along when I was a regular SNL viewer, I had a little more then a sophmores grasp of the worlds going ons, and had the most impact on my experience.
