Hillary to make peace on TV
WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Clinton and former Clinton White House aide George Stephanopoulos will bury the hatchet in public Sunday, when the New York Democrat appears for the first time on his struggling "This Week" program on ABC.
The former First Lady saw him as a betrayer after he recommended a special prosecutor handle the Whitewater scandal. And she was furious that he dished in his 1999 memoir, "All Too Human," how she berated the President over a bowl of cereal.
But Clinton's interview likely won't help Stephanopoulos' sagging ratings too much - she's also appearing on CBS and NBC Sunday morning.
