I love giving picture frames, always with a special photo of that person, usually of me and that person. Target has these really cool shadowbox-type collage frames. It's a rectangular frame in either black or silver with four panes of glass, and you can layer the pictures. They're really fun, cute, and only like $15.
One of the best gifts I've ever received was a set of notecards with my name printed at the top. Very personal, very practical, and something I would have never thought to buy for myself.
Or....get them a cool kitchen gadget, like a garlic press or a nice corkscrew.
I never know what to buy anyone until I actually see it...so hit the stores, and maybe the ideas will flow.
