I thought I was through not knowing
For some reason I thought I was finished being alone.
I got ahead of myself
And here I am again.
I met you when I wasn't looking.
The unexpected knocked down the door
I accepted an invitation.
No hemming no hawing
I jumped in the lake.
I signed my name in the clouds.
I bought the ticket
And enjoyed the scenery...
But it's the end of the line
It's here already.
I'm stepping from your shadow
I'm walking down the street
I'm watching from a window
I'm turning on the music
I'm writing these sorts of words.
I have to say it-
It feels safe to be here again.
