Well, back in Louisiana a lot of people have never even heard of good herb. Mostly the market is flooded with brown Mexican brick weed. The price fluctuates wildly depending on who your selling to. I have heard of people paying 40$ a 1/4 oz. of some shit that was full of seeds and stems, dry as fuck and smelled like ammonia. I would say the average is about 20$ for a 1/4 oz. As far as high grade, well cured buds the prices are through the roof. People pay 120$ for 1/4 oz. (7 grams) all day long.

In Southern California the Mexican brown weed was nearly free. Oz's were around 20$ to 50$. If your willing to buy it from south of the border I have heard of it going for 100$ a lb. I paid 40$ an 1/8 (3.5 grams) and 80$ for 1/4 oz (7 grams). Oz's (28 grams) went for around 250$.

In Northern Cali (Bay Area) I have never in life life seen sooooo much cheap, extremely high quality, easy to find weed. The shitty brown stuff was non existant. I couldnt find it if I wanted to. Oakland has the most lenient marijuana laws I know of. Our upstairs neighboors had their medical cards and growing permits. They were legally allowed to grow 74 plants in their house and sell it for around 3000$ a lb. to the cannibus clubs. All legal as far as the state laws were concerned. With no card or medical permit anything under 1 oz. (28 grams) is a 100$ ticket. (as long as its in one bag, more than one bag and they will try to get you for intent to distribute) But back to the subject..... 1/8 oz. was around 40$, 1/4 oz was 50$ to 100$, and you could get oz's for 200$ to 450$ depending on the quality.

Now I live in Kentucky and so many people live out in the hills that everyone seems to have a little bit that they grew and they are more than happy to share, or show it off, so I havent really got a feel for prices here.
