Chrono Trigger: One of the best RPG's made for the SNES hands down. Still one of my favorites today. Fantastic story with great characters plus you can change the outcome of the story as well as play through again with your old leveled up characters.

Super Punch-Out: Another great game. Once you're an expert you can beat it quickly but the fun is in mastering it as well as learning your opponents.

Super Metroid: Beautiful game which encourages exploration.

FF3: It's Final Fantasy, what can I say?

Some other good ones are: Battletoads in Battlemania, Earthworm Jim, Legend of Zelda 3, Super Bomberman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time.
