An old friend of mine died this week
An old friend of mine died this past week. Like so many kids just getting out in life under the age of 30, died in a car wreck.
lost control and died.. i don't have the details as of how he met his end. as in if he died instantly or died at a medical facility.
the thing that makes me angry is the dad. My friends parents were split for a long time now. the friend was around 25ish, and was prepaired to be moved here where i live in louisiana.
the dad turns into a total dick by refusing the body transfer. now everything is held off till DEC. 3. so my firend is stuck in a freezer in a town he never lived in until a court hearing to see what happens.
sigh.
all of my friends.. friends and realitives live here where i live.. save his loser dad. he lived in NC. I have yet to see the mom. cuz im letting her greif play through a bit before i make a presence to her.
although if i see the dad i might make a scene unlike a mortal has seen in ages. sigh
yeah well the thing is. he used to be a bud of mine back in the day. like all things.. times change.. i expaned the world view of mine and moved around the country alot. lost touch. talked to him again. lost touch. talked to his mom a few months ago and told her next time he was in, (this holiday) i'd come a knocking.
seems there are time in your life you never get that chance. a missed encounter that you will never make.

It means only one thing, and everything: Cut. Once committed to fight, Cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. The lines are a portrayal of the dance. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut with certainty. Cut decisively, resoultely. Cut into his strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't allow him a breath. Crush him. Cut him without mercy to the depth of his spirit. It is the balance to life: death. It is the dance with death. It is the law a war wizard lives by, or he dies.
