I'm almost sure this is going to happen, but I don't think it's a good idea for either team. This is what i hear.

Arod - really wants this to happen and is really starting to pressure the texas front office.

Manny - who knows what manny thinks, but Boras is telling texas that he would love to go there.

Sox GM - seems on board. This would let him trade nomar away for some pitching, try to trade for another Ortiz type that could play left field, and still maybe have some cash left over.

Texas GM - is the person holding this up, but eventually Hicks will probably get to him and let him know that cutting 60 million in the long run is a good idea. Hicks is losing a fortune both on his baseball team, but his hockey team as well. He has to save money, and this is probably the best deal he will find.

that said I'm really not sure how much this will help either team.

(also, im sort of new here, so if i post too much boston related junk someone slap me)
