The characters in Peter Jackson's The Two Towers are not Tolkien's. I shudder to think of what character traits he revised in The Return of the King. I will not be seeing it to find out. I will not pay to see The Lord of the Rings turned into a farce by the directing visionary behind Meet the Feebles.

Peter Jackson has brought to life what on one could. I have more respect for his cast and crew than any of anyother movie ever. Try watching some of the extras (4 hours worth) in the fellowship exteneded dvd, the great lengths they went to create every piece of armor, weld every sword, and the new technology they introducted for this movie alone is enough to make this movie stand out. Just because you are bitter cause the books were better, and the movie is not a DIRECT adaptaion, doesnt mean you can enjoy, and appreciate what they have done.
