NY Rangers take the cake on that one. They keep on snatching up players that do just fine where they are, and are usually the main draw for all the crowds in those cities... most of the teams that get rid of these players are just trying to save money.
If you think about it though, when they get rid of those players, less people will go to see the superstar talent... not to mention those teams that have to let these players go are usually worse, winning less games... therefore getting less ticket sales. One wonders in the long run just how much money they save by getting rid of them.
I don't know too much about other sports... but it seems to me like Anna Kornikova is sort of wasted "talent" as well... I mean, if she was better, we'd get to see that ass a great deal more in the top matches!!
