Dell has special Diagnostic software which they run on the computer 3 times. They also run the computer a few times, but to what details they run it I am not sure. Probably just check the BIOS, make sure everything on the screen looks ok, etc... I am on my second Dell and I couldn't be happier. I own one of those massive XPS systems
