That would make me so irate as the owner of the store.
Back when my grandmother had a floral shop there was an adult bookstore that moved in next door. She spoke against it at a city meeting asserting that it would draw a somewhat different type of clientel and affect her business. That was all she did. She made her statement. When they moved in she spoke to them on polite terms. Never criticised and when there was a small fire upstairs she helped them store a few things in her basement until they were able to do the repairs. My experience with them was - the owner was just a man running a business. He was polite and friendly and a decent person. It did somewhat change the clientel that my grandmother dealt with but not enough to seriously hurt her business.
The employee was obviously frustrated but he did not help his owner by hosing the protestor. I'm surprised that they don't accuse this man of invasion of privacy - taking peoples pictures. I wonder if they could get some signatures from their clients in protest of the protestor? lol However I hope he gets his ass kicked for harrassing people. Good luck to the owner.
