my understanding of occam's razor is the simplest answer must be the correct one. it's all in the wording though.
applied here, the simplest answer would be "no, if i were dreaming then we'd all be sharing that dream"
in which case would be very matrix-like, but that's definitely not the simplest answer. so "no" it is.
