About the DVD, you will need a decient Authoring program to use chapters. Sonic DVD IT se is a common one, that I believe is fairly cheap. However if you know where you can get your hands on a copy of Adobe Encore or Sonic Reel DVD, those are extremely good authoring apps. I use both regulary and I can say both are amazing apps, I prefer Reel DVD but thats just because I have used it longer. I am sure that there is a way to get the DVD Files to play off your HDD, and if not then you might be limited as to what you can do with it, but I do know it can make Chapter marks and intro screens for DVDs, VCDs, and SVCDs so hopefully you know someone who could let u try these. good luck
