There are a few things that make me believe this is a fake news story.

You aren't allowed to leave kids alone, and 1 adult for every 10 kids is the law, at least in my state. They didn't say anything about the woman facing charges for leaving them unattended or being under-staffed so...

I don't know the ages of the kids but lets say between 1-3. They can't organize an attack and the nanny wouldn't have left the room if they were fighting, so another reason to believe it's false.

Or if it is true.. Maybe the nanny planned the attack.. hmm... ok I dunno what to think but it sounds a little wierd that babies playing can turn into a mass biting in just a few minutes while the nanny turns her back... 1 or 2 babies maybe, but 12 of them?
