I believe life should be respected as much as possible and animals should be treated as humanely as possible. It is a wonderful and special thing and should not be discounted or treated lightly.
That being said, a rabbit or monkey does not have the same moral standing in my mind as a person.
Make-up testing, No.
Medical research, Yes.
