I'm a graphic design student, although to be honest I've only had two history of design classes, one practical design class, art appreciation, art history, and beginning drawing (I switched to graphic design from computer science last fall)... I still have a lot more classes to take.
this was done for my intermediate drawing class, this assignment was more about arranging a composition than representing anything, so it doesn't really mean anything. my goal was to create flowing forms that carried across the whole composition. I like the hurricane reference, I suppose if I had to name it I'd call it "whimsical chaos"
I don't like the way the second one is coming out as much, but I still need to add another layer to it.
