I've got a Mossberg 500A 12-ga. It's a pump gun, with interchangable barrels and screw-in chokes. Mine's a righty, dunno if they do a lefty or ambi, but I like the gun. It shoots VERY well. Last time out shooting clays, I hit 57/62, with 4 of the ones I missed being doubles. I use a Winchester white box 2-3/4" shell with 7/8oz of 7.5's on a modified choke.
For slugs, it places a gun full (6 shots) in a 3" circle at 50 yards with open sights. It has no scope provisions...you'd have to drill your own holes. I use Remington 3" shell with a 1oz slug. Packs a heavy punch, and is loud that way, but it'll knock down anything I need it to.
