All states in the US currently have the drinking age set at 21. Prior to the 80s, when Elizabeth Dole required that states raise their drinking age in order to receive federal highway funding, I believe some states had it set at 18.
A few years ago in Vermont, apparently Middlebury College looked into paying the state to have the drinking age lowered, but it turned out that the state got way more money in highway funds than the school could afford.
