I dont think we have room for anymore facilities here. The campus is in downtown austin with no more room to expand. i dont think it's just texas that doesnt field many of these teams.
even if, you cant be good if you dont have a team. the philosophy here is to buy championships (sad isnt it? just like the yankees). UT spends a lot of $$ on coaches and i'm sure that they can make a team better by shelling out more $$.
