I was being a smart ass.... or trying to be.... they said spin faster not cool better. I was suggesting removeing all blades, if you remove them all it wouldn't be off balanced, just wouldn't move any air....
you could get away with upping th voltage to a point but then you would have to have a pot and use the +12 -12 volts on the power supply to get the needed voltage with out useing an external source.....
the fan speed contoler like in the volcano 7 would only reduce the voltage thus slowing the fan.....
Just buy a new fan and do it the right way
