I read this book, and would recommend it to anyone. Sometimes the author was annoying when she would constantly remind us of the posh life she left behind, it seemed a bit elitist, but how she left it all behind to rough it was still pretty admirable.
It really brought home the fact that these people are forced to work to the point of exhaustion to be able to pay for rent and maybe food, and their hard work is appreciated by no one. And I agree with redlemon, I will never use a cleaning service. Like how she was "rebelling" against her boss by accepting a glass of water is unbelievable.
