In the post from Gatecrasher there is mention of a way to get mp3 files from IRC. I have to admit aside from finding out the status of TFP when down, I have never used IRC before.

What servers/groups would some of you experienced in this area recommend patrolling for music files/which ones do you frequent most? In searching for tips on the web, I'm finding mostly groups out of my area of interest (Eastern European techno, French victory marches, etc.)
