I have recently moved to a new apartment. A small apartment, but a nice apartment. Due to space limitations, I need to place my tv in the corner, raised up about five feet. A 1x4 along the back edge of the tv already points it downward to make viewing a little easier. However, I have no idea what to do with my stereo/ mini home theatre system.

I can't find any resources on how to properly place the speakers in a corner. It is likely an audiophiles nightmare, but I really don't have any other place I can place the tv screen/center speaker. I have a 5.1 (center, sub, two forward, two surround) sony system.

Does anyone have any advice on speaker placement or web-searching skills superior to mine, to find a resource on corners?
